Meet Sammi!
Yesterday, Mishelle had a gut feeling to go to our local animal shelter here in Rexburg, Idaho. Initially, I was reluctant because we were both hungry and I didn't want to get too attached to any other dogs as I had before with another medium-sized dog before. At length, we decided to go and we unexpectedly fell in love with a new buddy.
We all played together for a few minutes outside and had a good time together with the other dogs too. However, when we played fetch with the other three do
gs, this little one would come back to us over and over again and let the rest go fetch.
Once we took her inside and held her we were toast. Other families and couples kept coming into the shelter admiring her and wanting to hold her but there was no way I was about to let her go to anyone else! I think that's when we both knew she was the dog for us.
That was it. She's now enjoying her new home, she loves to run around and loves her new owners. :) This is probably the calmest, best behaved puppy we have ever seen!
